NZ Surf Boat Series

Three Titahi Bay surf boat crews represented the club at the recent Wellington Super Surf Boat event at Lyall Bay. The U'19 women (Titahi Bay Tigers), U'23 women (Tims Tarts) and the Open men's crews put in a great effort against some strong crews (and even stronger South Coast wind) in the first event of the season.

The Tigers placed second in the U'19 womens section while Tim's girls came in at third. A new-look mens A crew bowed out of the event in an unlucky lane after a day of solid racing.

The crews will race in the series again in February when they travel to Waihi for the North Island Surf Boat Championships.
