Nationals 2019

This year the New Zealand Surf Life Saving Championships were held at Mount Maunganui Beach. This year our Masters competitors set the bar for the weekend doing well in a range of Masters events. We had one of our largest craft teams competing in individual and team events as well as surf boat crews in nearly every age division.

Titahi Bay SLSC also won the SLSNZ Surf Boat Club of the Year trophy for the fourth year in a row. Overall, the club finished 4th overall on total points (57). We were the top Central Region club finishing ahead of East End by seven points. We were the recipients of the Open Men Long Course Trophy, Open Men Short Course Trophy and the Open Women Long Course Trophy. The Open Men were awarded the Overall Team of the Year award.
