Titahi Bay has a proud history of Surf Boat rowing, winning the National Open Boat Title more than any other club and also representing NZ on numerous occasions over a number of decades. In 2016, Titahi Bay won the New Zealand Surf Boat Club of the Year trophy at the National Champs - this was awarded based on the amount of points accumulated by all surf boat crews over the weekend.
